It is a third Chichibu On The Way bottling, following the releases of 2013 and 2015. This edition is the most mature of the three and consists of 5-10 year old barrels. The largest part in the mix is first fill bourbon barrels. Also, some chibidaru (quarter casks), barrels with mizunara oak heads and a few peated whisky casks. 11 000 bottles were released.
