Diplomatico No1 Batch Kettle

It is the first bottling from Diplomatico’s The Distillery Collection. Back in Venezuela, they have three different distillation devices that they use for their rum. The first is called Batch Kettle, and it comes from Canada where it was used for making whisky. In Diplomatico they mostly make sugar cane honey rum with it. Then they age it in American white oak barrels, previously used for bourbon and whisky maturation for 6 years.
