Mackmyra Efva

The Mackmyra master blender Angela D’Orazio asked jewelry designer Efva Attling to join her in a collaboration project. The designer made a polished silver cork, and both of them worked on the recipe of the whisky. They went to Mackmyra’s Bodas – the main warehouse and handpicked 19 casks they liked. Mostly it was Oloroso, American oak, and bourbon barrels, seasoned with birch sap wine. For additional sweetness, they added some cherry wine casks.
