Mackmyra Gront Te

An interesting and unusual whisky from Mackmyra distillery in Sweden. “Gront Te” means green tea in English, because tea was involved in the making of this whisky. Producers chose four Japanese green teas: Yame Sencha, Yame Gyokuro, Kaoribo Hojicha, and Yame Matcha Shinobi, placed those teas to a sherry wine in a cask and aged it for a while. After that, they used these casks for Mackmyra Gront Te ageing.
