Mackmyra Vintersol

Vintersol means winter sun. As people behind Mackmyra whisky say, the sun does not come as often as they wish in Swedish winter, so they decided to catch and put it to this bottle. To do that they brought port wine casks from Quinta Do Vallado winery in sunny Douro Valley in Portugal for this whisky’s ageing. You might find hints of spices, raisins, sun dried fruits, tropical berries, toffee, vanilla, and toasted oak.
