99% of this blend contains 17-22 years old malt whiskies from Glen Elgin, Glenlossie, and Linkwood distilleries. The remaining 1% is a grain whisky from Girvan distillery, aged in experimental oak casks. According to the whisky maker John Glaser, this small part gave a nice touch to the final complexity. And because of this young spirit in it, this product can not be called Scotch legally, since Scotch must be aged for at least three years.  “Scotch Malt Whisky Blended With Wheat And Barley Spirit. Spirit Drink” – that is how they named it. By the way, the packing design of it is superb and only 4802 were released.
