Teeling 18 YO Renaissance Series II

The Renaissance is a limited edition series from Teeling Whiskey Distillery. The distillery has won nearly 300 various awards worldwide in the last 7 years. The most important of it is the name of the World’s Best Single Malt whisky in 2009 at World Whiskies Awards.

Teeling Renaissance Series No. 2 was aged for 18 years. Most of those years it has spent in ex-bourbon barrels and for finishing it was filled into Australian Shiraz wine casks. The wine casks gave hints of ripe fruits, cherries and spices. You might also find some cinnamon, dried fruits, caramel, or cloves in this whiskey’s flavour and aroma. Only 9000 bottles were released.
