Teeling Chocolate Porter

It is one of the two most “Lithuanian” whiskeys you can probably get today since there is no proper Lithuanian whisky yet. It was born when Teeling Irish Whiskey and Genys Brewing Co. from Kaunas, decided to do this collaboration project. Ten barrels after whiskey aging went to Kaunas from Ireland, where guys in Genys Brewing Co. brew lots of chocolate porter called Dark Forest and filled six barrels with it for maturation. When the beer was ready, they released it, and the barrels when back to Ireland for whiskey aging again. In these barrels, whisky was aged for six more months before it was bottled as Teeling Chocolate porter limited edition whiskey.
