Whisky festivals are significant for every whisky producer. The year 2020 was different in so many ways. There were no busy stands, no trips, no tastings, no beers after a show with colleagues. In other words, – there were no festivals. As makers of this whisky say, these little things are not the biggest loss of the year, but they are missed. For a few times, Compass Box and Whisky Live Paris’s organisers made special limited editions for the event. But this time, they decided to make a whisky for a festival that did not happen. So it could remind us about festivals in the past and that the festivals will start happening again soon.

In This is Not a Festival Whisky you might find hints of apple pie, spiced sultanas, vanilla and some light smoke and waxiness. The best way to taste it? As whisky makers say, pour a glass, start your favourite video conference and try to find Paris in autumn in this combination. Only 1830 bottles were released.
