Derrumbes Zacatecas

Composed from Agave Tequiliana Weber, the same type as tequila is. The fields where it grows are just a few kilometers away from the tequila valley, and it is not a surprise that this mescal has tequila character. The main difference comes from the production methods when the producer Mezcalero Jaime Bañuelos cooks agaves in underground stone pits, which imparts smoky and earthy notes to it.
